Site Entrance View in Summer
This picture is taken from the left of hut 7 (as shown on the map above) looking across the river. The yellow arrow is pointing towards hut 5.
As you can see in Summer the site is lush and thick with foliage providing many points of cover.
Furthermore hut 5 is on a hill and is often used as a defensive HQ in most games. |

View of a paint covered hut 7
This picture is taken just to the left of the entrance and is looking down on hut 7. Behind the base are thick reeds which then moves onto the river and then it is a six foot banking to climb up to get onto the island at the other side.
The entrance is raised above this hut and gives a feel for the varied terrain that the site has to offer. |

The Bridge
This picture is taken of our pallet bridge as labelled on the map above. The picture is taken from next to hut 8 obviously looking out over the river.
The bridge is an important part of the site as it is used in many of the games and is the only dry way to cross the river (so it is optional to use for all of you who want to get as wet as possible!!!).

Cheeseburger Valley
This image is taken from behind hut number 5. Hut number 6 is also apparent in the distance. This area is either known as 'the island' or 'cheeseburger valley' due to the type of games that are played on it.

The Tunnel
The river running through the site eminates from this brickwork tunnel, the exact position of which can be seen on the map on the top of the page.
The tunnel can be an important location to setup defending troops as the area surrounding it acts as a key crossing point to the island, back field and for troops making their way to the emabassy base (hut number 2). |
 |
Tunnel Base
This image is taken from the tunnel and is of hut number 3. This base is one of only two in the open back field and so can be an important base to control during the day. The back field is a big expanse of open land, however it is not entirely flat and so a crawling soldier can be hard to see. Many classic firefights and scenes of paintballing carnage have taken place in close quarter battles in this field. |

Mount Kent
This is the view from the back of hut number 1. As can be seen the hut lies at the top of a hill and is an essential base to control in defensive games. In particular the base plays an imprtant role in the embassy game where a team will be defending hut number 2 and it is essential that the attacking team control Mount Kent for an effective offensive against the Embassy base defenders. |
